Patent preparation and prosecution assistance in biomedical and electrical engineering
Yizhou helps with the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, focusing on electrical and biomedical engineering. With a strong foundation in interdisciplinary research, she brings a unique perspective that integrates electrical engineering principles with biomedical innovations.
Prior to joining Quarles, Yizhou accumulated extensive experience in academic research, participating in the design, coordination and execution of a pioneering project aimed at improving the efficiency of gene therapy delivery using electroporation. This experience allowed her to apply and expand her skills across multiple disciplines, effectively bridging the fields of electrical and biomedical engineering. Yizhou possesses technical skills in cell culture, microscopy (contrast and fluorescence) image capture and analysis, flow cytometry, IVIS, as well as experimental design, data acquisition, processing and analysis.
