Nathan Loayza advises on a variety of intellectual property (IP) litigation matters involving patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets.

As a summer associate at Quarles, Nathan rendered broad support on a range of matters, including researching and drafting memoranda on patent standing, design patent validity, trade secret misappropriation and post-judgment enforcement.

  • Supports complex patent and copyright litigation in federal court.
  • Handles opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).
  • Assists with pretrial litigation, including motion practice, discovery disputes and legal research.
