About Mackenzie

Guidance on energy regulatory issues and litigation, appellate matters and general commercial litigation

Mackenzie Gutner represents public utility clients before the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin, the Illinois Commerce Commission and state courts. In her appellate practice, she thoroughly enjoys composing persuasive motions and incisive legal briefs, with experience before the Wisconsin and Illinois Courts of Appeal. She also represents a variety of clients across diverse business sectors in every stage of litigation.

Mackenzie finds complex legal issues exciting. She takes pleasure in breaking them down to their most basic form, which she then uses to make the most clear and persuasive legal arguments before decision makers. Mackenzie never backs down from the opportunity to learn something new so she can better assist her clients.

She is committed to providing pro bono service to the greater Milwaukee community, and has assisted pro bono clients with impact litigation, legal name changes, and obtaining harassment and domestic abuse injunctions.
