Strategic labor and employment law counsel
Lorene Danga represents public and private employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including defending single-plaintiff lawsuits, class and representative actions, and government agency administrative charges. Lorene’s litigation and arbitration practice includes defending claims filed under the California Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA), wage and hour claims, wrongful termination, and claims for harassment, discrimination and retaliation. Lorene also provides pragmatic and strategic advice and counseling to business owners and HR representatives on the full range of HR and workforce issues, such as:
- Employee performance management, discipline and policy design
- Leave management and accommodation procedures
- Wage and hour compliance
- Workplace violence restraining orders
- Workplace investigations
Lorene’s robust counseling practice includes drafting and advising on employee handbooks and personnel policies, employment and arbitration agreements, and keeping clients up to date on new laws.
