Lauren McComis guides clients on patent prosecution for national and international patent portfolios. She has significant experience prosecuting applications both in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and filings under the Patent Cooperative Treaty. She has developed technical knowledge in areas such as:
- Artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, deep learning, large language models (LLMs) and neural networks
- Computer software and consumer electronics, including financial technology, online educational software, virtual and augmented reality applications, and medical imaging and diagnostic applications.
- Control systems for industrial and heavy machinery, vehicles, including, autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicles, industrial automation and manufacturing, and building management systems
- Communication technologies, including telecommunications, 5G New Radio, O-RAN, IoT, Cloud Computing and networking
