Domestic and foreign patent preparation and prosecution
Joe Ambrose handles all aspects of domestic and international patent prosecution. He also supports clients with the preparation of infringement, invalidity and freedom-to-operate opinions.
With a mechanical engineering degree, Joe's practice includes the prosecution of both design and utility patents. He also provides strategic patent litigation and post-grant proceeding support. Joe serves clients in a variety of industries in the mechanical, electrical and software arts, including:
• Consumer goods, such as apparel, air care, coffee and espresso machines, footwear, furniture, golf equipment, household and hospital cleaning products, kitchen appliances, speakers and audio systems
• Manufacturing, such as additive manufacturing systems, industrial automation systems, hydraulic systems, automotive power and control systems, construction vehicles and equipment, fasteners, valves, equipment and tooling
• High technology, such as blockchain networks, non-fungible tokens (NFT), virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and smart devices/Internet of Things (IoT).
Prior to attending law school, Joe gained industry experience developing HVAC equipment and controls solutions for retail, business, storage and warehouse markets.
