Strategic IP protection for life science technologies
Jonathon Young assists in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications. He analyzes client patent portfolios, reviews license agreements, and drafts independent contractor agreements, copyright agreements, trademark applications and provisional patent applications.
Jonathon’s doctoral research focused on improving outcomes for children who undergo intraocular surgery. While developing his thesis dissertation, Jonathon gained research experience in bottom-up proteomics and RNA-sequencing to study inflammatory and fibrotic pathways in ocular tissues. His background in basic and translational science provides a unique perspective to assist in generating effective patent strategies that best support a client’s development objectives.
