Ian Park assists with the prosecution of patent applications, focusing on inventions related to mechanical systems, consumer products and industrial controls. His core technical background includes simulation, biomedical devices, robotics and actuators, and he also has experience with augmented reality, virtual reality and robotic processes.

He gained his technical experience through a mechanical engineering degree and roles as an R&D engineer. During his doctoral studies, he developed robotic actuators designed to mimic the functions of artificial muscles. This hands-on experience has equipped him with a deep understanding of the underlying technologies involved in his clients' inventions. Additionally, Ian has experience in creating control systems for autonomous payload recovery systems for UAVs and rocket recovery systems.
