Civil defense attorney with experience in commercial and product liability matters
Dwayne Burns defends and advises clients in complex litigation, including aspects of high-exposure product liability matters. He handles matters involving catastrophic injury, medical malpractice and wrongful death claims.
Earlier in his career, Dwayne served as a criminal defense trial attorney with the Maricopa County Public Defender’s Office. After representing indigent clients, he transitioned into the private civil sector and continued to develop his litigation skills. Dwayne works hard for his clients and provides consistent and efficient representation that furthers long-lasting relationships after matters conclude.

- Handled product liability cases involving seatback failure, roof crush, glazing, tire failure and airbags, as well as medical devices and other products.
- Has first-chaired more than 50 bench trials to verdict and handled two jury cases that settled after juries were empaneled. Dwayne also has conducted more than 60 mediations and multiple arbitration proceedings.
