Comprehensive litigation counsel
Dominique Fortune handles research on Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) claims and defenses, as well as other federal statutes relating to land use, conservation, pollution and natural resource management. She has experience drafting memorandum in various state and federal jurisdictions. Her other experience includes:
- Drafting pleadings for review and filing.
- Preparing dispositive motions and supporting briefs.
- Drafting initial discovery requests.
Dominique aims to make complex legal and technical concepts accessible and provide timely updates, ensuring that clients feel informed throughout the process.
Experience in Action
- Represents public utility clients in rate cases, buy/sell dockets and other applications before the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSCW).
- Represents commercial clients at every stage of litigation, with experience in pleading, discovery motion practice, briefing and trial preparation.
- Produces franchise agreements for municipality energy needs on behalf of utilities.
- Conducts research on insurance defense, including storm and flooding matters.
