- Preparing core estate planning documents, including last wills and testaments, revocable trusts, powers of attorney and advanced health care directives.
- Designing complex trusts to facilitate tax-efficient wealth transfers, including spousal lifetime access trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts, grantor-retained annuity trusts, qualified personal residence trusts and charitable trusts.
- Representing individuals and corporate fiduciaries in complex estate and trust administration matters.
- Consulting on federal income, estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax issues, including reviewing and preparing tax returns for individuals, estates and trusts.
- Creating tax-exempt entities and assisting in obtaining and maintaining tax-exempt status.
- Guiding clients on the ever-changing estate tax laws, including planning for the possibility of a substantial decrease in the federal estate tax exemption on January 1, 2026.
