- Obtained court ordered dismissal with prejudice of patent lawsuit on Section 101 grounds for leading health care software company. Successfully upheld judgment before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals.
- Obtained order granting attorneys’ fees under Section 285 against prolific patent troll that sued client for allegedly infringing patent that plaintiff should have known was invalid under Section 101.
- Obtained voluntary dismissal with prejudice, with no compensation paid, of copyright action filed against leading electronic health care record software company.
- Trial counsel for major multinational toy manufacturing and entertainment company obtaining voluntary dismissal with prejudice, with no compensation paid, against right of publicity (name and likeness) and privacy claims.
- Obtained voluntary dismissals with prejudice, with no compensation paid, of multiple patent actions filed against software company.
- Obtained voluntary dismissals of dozens of trademark applications for consumer goods manufacturer.
- Trial counsel for leading smartphone and consumer electronics company defending against patent infringement claims.
