Janelle Iturbe helps her clients with an array of real estate and financing matters, such as homebuilder financing, land banking, acquisition and development lending, build-to-rent lending, joint ventures, third-party and municipal/district development financing, asset management and dispositions (sales/leasing), and asset workouts and collection. She also has experience handling general real estate litigation and bankruptcy matters.
Prior to joining Quarles, Janelle served for more than a decade as vice president and counsel for a subsidiary of a Fortune 500 national, public homebuilder operating as a portfolio manager and capital provider to public and private homebuilders and developers. As lead counsel, she was responsible for overseeing all legal matters, from deal origination through asset disposition, as well as directing legal strategy, corporate governance and compliance to mitigate risks during various market cycles. Her high-level experience working in-house combined with her work on the law firm side provides her clients with the informed counsel they need to accomplish their goals.
Admitted in Pennsylvania and Virginia. Arizona practice temporarily authorized pending admission under Ariz. R. Sup. Ct. 39(b). Supervision by Jason Wood, a member of the State Bar of Arizona.
