Sybil Taylor Aytch Reappointed to Arizona Supreme Court Commission on Diversity, Equality and Justice in the Judiciary
Sybil Taylor Aytch, a paralegal in the firm’s Bankruptcy, Restructuring and Creditors’ Rights Practice Group, has been reappointed to the Arizona Supreme Court Commission on Diversity, Equality and Justice in the Judiciary (CODEJ.) She will serve a three-year term and is the first and only paralegal member to serve as a CODEJ member.
CODEJ develops recommendations to promote diversity and equality, including recruiting, hiring, and training of judicial officers, and court and probation department employees, and is also working to develop programs that encourage diverse groups to obtain internships and clerkships, and to participate in other career development and training programs for judicial, legal, court and law-related positions.
Demonstrating her commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, Sybil is the immediate past chair of the National Federation of Paralegal Associations' Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee; member of the Maricopa County Bar Association’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee; and co-chair of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee for the International Practice Management Association.
