Steven Hunter Named Quarles & Brady Chicago Office Litigation & Dispute Resolution Chair
Chicago — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that partner Steven Hunter has been named Chicago office Litigation & Dispute Resolution chair.
Hunter is an accomplished trial lawyer with first-chair experience representing companies in discovery, motions practice, arbitration, mediation, jury trials, bench trials and appeals in the U.S. and abroad. He serves as co-chair of Quarles & Brady’s National Diversity Committee.
He has been included in Crain's Chicago Business "2019 Notable Minorities in Accounting, Consulting and Law in Chicago," Chicago United’s “Business Leader of Color" and Chicago Magazine’s "Top Attorneys in Illinois." He also has been selected for inclusion in Illinois Super Lawyers in the Business Litigation category since 2014.
Hunter is an active member of several Chicago organizations, including co-chair of the Leadership Advisory Council of the Art Institute of Chicago, vice chair and member of the president's council of the Museum of Science and Industry, board member of Family Focus, General Counsel of the Northeast Illinois Council of the Boyscouts of America, Inc. and is an active member and clinic chairman of Chicago Volunteer Legal Services.
