Steven Hunter Appointed Vice Chair of the Museum of Science and Industry Chicago President's Council
Chicago — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that partner Steven Hunter has been appointed vice chair of the Museum of Science and Industry Chicago President's Council.
The Museum of Science and Industry Chicago (MSI) President’s Council provides opportunities for members to exercise civic and philanthropic leadership and to promote the museum’s vision to inspire and motivate children to achieve their full potential in the fields of science, technology, medicine and engineering.
As vice chair, Hunter will represent the President’s Council at museum events, attend quarterly meetings, advocate for member participation in MSI fundraising initiatives, and give opening/closing remarks or updates in place of the President’s Council chair when necessary. Additionally, Hunter will transition to chair after his vice chair term ends.
Hunter is a commercial litigator who focuses on discovery, motions practice, arbitration, mediation, jury trials, bench trials, and appeals. He represents financial institutions, international manufacturing companies, private companies, construction companies, landlords and tenants, entertainers and professional athletes, and pro bono clients. Hunter received his Bachelor of Arts from Brown University and his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center.
