Seasoned Trust and Estate Attorney Dallas Klemmer Named Senior Counsel at Quarles

News Release

Naples, Fla. – The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Dallas Klemmer has been elevated to the role of senior counsel in the firm’s Estate, Trust & Wealth Preservation Practice Group.

Klemmer, who joined the Quarles Naples office in late 2021 as a paralegal, recently passed the Florida bar and is now licensed to practice law in Florida. Klemmer had previously been a trust and estate attorney for more than two decades in Wisconsin and South Carolina; he remains licensed in both of those states. With the Naples Estate, Trust & Wealth Preservation Group, he joins a team that has been serving the area’s estate planning needs for more than 40 years.

“I look forward to resuming my practice and helping ensure our clients get the outstanding service, attention to detail and forward-thinking counsel they’ve come to expect from our team,” said Klemmer. “Quarles has one of the best reputations in the region, particularly for estate and trust planning, so I’m excited to ramp up my involvement with the group.”

Klemmer handles everything from probate and wills, to the full spectrum of trusts, to estate, gift and income tax planning. After practicing for 13 years in Wisconsin and seven years in South Carolina, he moved to Hawaii, where he served as a district court clerk and court operations specialist for the Hawaii State Judiciary.

He is a graduate of the University and South Carolina School of Law and received his B.A. from Bob Jones University.

“Trust and estate planning is a complicated, highly technical area of law, so we’re fortunate to be able to add someone to the team of the caliber of Dallas,” said Kim Dillon, Naples chair of the Estate, Trust & Wealth Preservation Group. “The fact that he’s also admitted in South Carolina and Wisconsin is especially valuable as we continue to see a significant migration of high-income individuals and families to the Naples area from states such as those.”
