Samantha Skenandore Presented with Wisconsin Tribal Transportation Conference Tribal Excellence Award

Madison — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Samantha Skenandore, an attorney in the Real Estate and Indian Law and Policy practice groups, has been awarded the Wisconsin Tribal Transportation Conference Tribal Excellence Award by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Inter-Tribal Task Force.

The Tribal Excellence Awards are presented annually during the Wisconsin Tribal Transportation Conference (WTTC) to recognize individuals, organizations and businesses for exemplary contributions and service to building and enhancing partnerships with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation and Wisconsin Tribal communities.

Skenandore focuses her practice on both federal Indian law and tribal law, advising tribal and corporate clients in tribal governance, governmental affairs, corporate transactions, real estate, labor issues and litigation. She represents corporate entities, both tribal and nontribal, in matters involving financing, minority or women-owned certification, labor relations, complex commercial real estate matters and government relations. Skenandore received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law.

The 2019 Wisconsin Tribal Transportation Conference took place on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center in Green Bay, WI.
