Rose Reitz and Judi Gunn Receive Wisconsin Law Journal's Unsung Heroes Award

News Release

MILWAUKEE — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Rose Reitz and Judie Gunn have received Wisconsin Law Journal Unsung Heroes Awards.

The Unsung Heroes Awards honor the support staff for local attorneys who work hard behind the scenes and play a significant role in contributing to the success of law firms.

Reitz has received recognition for her work as a paralegal in multiple practice groups at the firm. Her diligence and experience are reasons she has served several of the firm's most prominent clients for many years. In addition to her paralegal work, Reitz works on pro bono matters and helps out at the firm's restraining-order clinic.

Gunn was recognized for her work at the firm as a Legal Secretary. She is the lead audit letter response coordinator, training new attorneys in response protocols and helping to resolve occasional questions with recipient accounting firms; she also works with attorneys who handle mergers & acquisitions and securities filings. Gunn also supports timekeepers in the firm’s Franchise Distribution Group. She streamlined the mechanics for docketing franchise registration dates, work and reviews extensive application documents to ensure compliance with state regulations.

The ceremony was held on December 5, 2018 at the Grain Exchange Building in Milwaukee.
