Real Estate Attorney Janet Lindeman Rejoins Quarles Chicago Office as Partner

News Release

The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Janet Lindeman has rejoined the firm’s Chicago office as a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group.

Lindeman advises clients on complex commercial real estate matters throughout the United States, including acquisition, disposition, leasing, development, financing and mergers. She executes multi-million-dollar commercial real transactions for a variety of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, national commercial real estate developers, institutional real estate property owners and developers, and real estate investment trusts.

“With new business and legal challenges emerging in the commercial real estate industry, our clients want savvy and experienced representation that can help them navigate through complex legal issues,” said Diane Haller, Real Estate Practice Group national chair. “Janet fits this bill, and we are thrilled she has returned to Quarles to provide the client-focused counsel for which we are known.”

Previously, Lindeman served as assistant general counsel for a national retail corporation where, among other responsibilities, she led all aspects of the real estate legal team. She also previously was at an Am Law top-five international law firm. Lindeman received her Bachelor of Arts from Gettysburg College and her Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law.

“My experience working in several in-house counsel roles and on the law firm side of real estate transactions gives me an understanding of what clients want and how to solve their issues,” said Lindeman. “I am excited to utilize my skillset and experience to help our clients, and I look forward to collaborating with former and new colleagues across the firm.”
