Quarles Names Allison Buchanan National Vice Chair of Public Finance Practice Group

Allison Buchanan, a Quarles & Brady partner based in the firm’s Milwaukee office, has been appointed national vice chair of the Public Finance Practice Group. Jeff Peelen will continue to serve as national chair of the group.

Buchanan, who also leads the group’s school district and technical college public finance team, advises clients on issues such as capital and operational referenda, bond financings for capital projects and short-term cash flow borrowings.

Named one of the Milwaukee Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” in 2020, Buchanan earned a B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
