Quarles & Brady LLP Attorneys and Staff Receive Executive Management Certificates
Innovative PD Program Offers Cutting Edge Client Focused Leadership
MILWAUKEE, Wis. — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that 36 of its partners and four senior staff completed an executive leadership program at Northwestern University and received certificates of completion on Wednesday, April 20, 2016.
Quarles collaborated with the Kellogg School of Management and the Northwestern Law School to develop a customized executive education curriculum designed around three key themes of leadership: The Art of Leadership; The Leader as Collaborator; and, The Client-Focused Leader. Quarles & Brady provides innovative professional development programming for attorneys and staff designed to make these increased proficiencies a “new normal” and a hallmark of its firm culture.
"Quarles & Brady is committed to providing professional development for our attorneys and staff that helps us deliver value to our clients at a differentiated level," said firm chair Kimberly Leach Johnson. "To continue to meet the demands of our clients in this highly competitive marketplace, we want to make sure that our attorneys and staff have the leadership skills necessary to work effectively as a team, lead a team through a case or a deal, develop ongoing client relationships, and interact well with clients and colleagues."
The four-day program, held at the Kellogg Executive Education Center in Evanston, Ill., leverages the university's experience with law firm clients, as well as its rich business management resources to help their faculty deliver programming that addresses all aspects of practicing law in today's legal environment. This was a high value opportunity that delivered in every aspect: empowering leadership, increasing client service, and connecting colleagues who are also collectively dedicated to the firm's future.
"Seriously, the best training program I've attended in my professional life, either as a lawyer or when I was a business person. Very credible faculty and practical advice. It was a real credit to our organization to have been apart of this program. I appreciate the investment the firm made in me on this," stated Milwaukee partner Andy Beilfuss.
