Quarles & Brady Honored with Institutional Partner Award from Chicago-Kent College of Law Alumni Association

CHICAGO – The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that it has received the 2018 Institutional Partner Award from the Chicago-Kent College of Law Alumni Association for contributions to the law school, the legal community and the Chicago-Kent Alumni Board Scholarship Fund.

Quarles & Brady has a long history and strong relationship with Chicago-Kent. The firm regularly participates in the school’s Patent Hub, and has provided hundreds of hours of pro bono services since the event’s inception in 2011. Through Quarles & Brady’s representation, Patent Hub has helped pro bono inventors receive a number of utility and design patents. The firm also provides sponsorships and speakers for Chicago-Kent’s annual Nonprofits and the Law Conference.

The relationship between Quarles & Brady and Chicago-Kent runs deep as 14 alumni are employed by the firm. Quarles & Brady also provides funding and part-time jobs for students, a mentorship program that matches students and firm employees and several scholarships and fellowships.

Quarles & Brady, along with the other award recipients, were recognized at the 40th Annual Alumni Awards Celebration on Nov. 14, 2018, in Chicago.
