Quarles & Brady Holds Open House for New Indianapolis Office
Firm Welcomes Indianapolis Community to Tour New Space
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced the opening of its new Indianapolis office space today, celebrating with an open house for invited local stakeholders. The new office is located on the 24th floor of BMO Harris Plaza, at 135 North Pennsylvania Street.
“Our office space is more than just a place to conduct business; it is a reflection of the collaborative approach we take to servicing our clients and to our core values,” said Indianapolis Managing Partner Linden Barber.
The design aesthetic of the new Quarles & Brady office includes unique characteristics in that there are no “corner” offices, each office is the same size and desks move vertically to adjust for user preference. There is a focus on shared workstations and meeting rooms that offer flexibility—including one workstation that doubles as a functional treadmill.
“Our goal was to offer our colleagues and clients the type of space that encouraged a team atmosphere, but also allowed for growth,” said Barber. “We are grateful for the work of our partners at Steelcase, Milliken, and the Herron School of Art, and we are excited to show off our new home here in Indianapolis.”
To achieve the overall look and feel desired, the Quarles & Brady team engaged Steelcase and Milliken to optimize the space without changing the overall look. Additionally, Quarles & Brady was able to partner with the Herron School of Art to secure photographs from students that highlight the city in an "Indy in Motion" exhibit displayed throughout the office. Pictures highlight neighborhoods and landmarks in Indianapolis, including Mass Avenue, Fountain Square, and Monument Circle.
Quarles & Brady first opened their temporary Indianapolis office space in May 2014. The new space allows for the firm to continue to grow and add additional team members in the future.
Quarles & Brady is already an active member of the Indianapolis community, with a firm-wide history of extensive community service embraced by civic-minded lawyers and staff members alike. In addition to causes such as Go Red for Women, ALS, and the American Lung Association, the firm is committed to supporting and sustaining its local communities through its Quarles Cares program and pro bono services. This service reflects an ongoing devotion to making the communities Quarles & Brady calls “home” better places to live.
