Quarles & Brady Earns Perfect Score in 2019 Corporate Equality Index
Milwaukee — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that the firm has been recognized as a "Best Place to Work for LGBT Equality" by receiving a perfect score of 100 percent on the 2019 Corporate Equality Index (CEI).
The CEI is a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.
The 2019 CEI rated 1,028 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs and public engagement with the LGBTQ community.
"This is the fifth consecutive year that we have received a perfect score from the HRC" said George Marek, Quarles & Brady partner and chair of the firm's Diversity & Inclusion Committee. "We are honored to be recognized and the 100 percent score once again demonstrates our commitment to providing an inclusive work environment for LGBTQ colleagues."
