Quarles & Brady Attorneys Receive Pro Bono Service Award from Arizona Federal District Court
PHOENIX — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that a team of attorneys from the firm’s Washington, D.C., Phoenix and Chicago offices received the 2018 Pro Bono Service Award from the Phoenix Division of the Arizona Federal District Court.
The awarded team consisted of Nikia Gray, Jeff Wolf, Scott Klundt, Laura Buchanan, Carla Walters and former partner David Yohannan. The annual award honors attorneys who have committed their time to exemplary pro bono work. The team was recognized for its outstanding work in representing a woman who had fled Canada with her two children to escape her abusive husband. Due to the team’s commitment to the case, Judge Rayes of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona nominated the team for the award.
“We are honored to have received this recognition from the Court,” said Scott Klundt, partner in the firm’s Phoenix office. “Our team worked hard to obtain a successful outcome for our client, who was very grateful for our efforts on her behalf.”
