Quarles & Brady Appoints Benjamin Brown as Naples Office Managing Partner
Naples, Fla. — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced today that Benjamin Brown has been named office managing partner for the firm’s Naples, Fla., office, effective today. He succeeds Kelly Davis, who is pursuing an in-house counsel role with a global health care company.
Brown, who joined Quarles & Brady in 2006 and will continue his full-time practice, is the Florida chair of the firm’s Commercial Litigation Practice Group. He was recognized in 2020 by Naples Illustrated as one of the region’s “Top Lawyers” in commercial litigation and was a member of the Leadership Collier class of 2018.
“Ben’s strong roots both in Florida and with our firm make him the ideal choice to accelerate the momentum we’ve established with our Naples office,” said Mike Aldana, Quarles & Brady’s managing partner. “He has demonstrated his leadership ability in a variety of ways in recent years, from spurring growth of our litigation practice in Florida to the way he helps newer attorneys grow and develop.”
Brown practices at both the trial and appellate court levels, representing local and national lenders, loan servicers, contractors, professional fiduciaries and other sophisticated parties. He focuses his practice on complex business, real estate and construction disputes, including title litigation, creditor rights matters, probate and trust litigation, and insurance disputes.
He earned a B.A. from Princeton University and a J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
“We have an outstanding team in Naples and I’m proud to get this opportunity to help drive our ongoing success,” Brown said. “As a firm, we have a deep commitment to a client-first mindset and to giving back to the communities in which we live and work. We take both of those commitments to heart in Naples and I look forward to building on that foundation.”
Board certified by The Florida Bar in Business Litigation, Brown has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America (Commercial Litigation) from 2020 through 2022 and was a Florida Super Lawyers “Rising Star” (Business Litigation) from 2009 through 2019.
