Quarles & Brady Announces Luis Ochoa as Tucson Office Managing Partner
Tucson, AZ — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Luis Ochoa, a partner in the Real Estate & Land Use and Indian Law and Policy practice groups has been selected as the Tucson office managing partner, effective December 1, 2019.
Ochoa will be responsible for the overall direction and management of the Tucson office. He will implement operating and strategic plans, manage budgeting and oversight, and represent the Tucson office within the community and throughout the firm.
He succeeds Gavin Milczarek-Desai, who has taken a position with The University of Arizona College of Law.
Ochoa focuses his practice in tribal governance and project development, financing, gaming, business entity formation, real estate development, and the unique issues of tribal law. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Arizona and a Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona–James E. Rogers College of Law.
An active participant in firm initiatives and programs, Ochoa serves on the firm's Pro Bono committee. He participates in Quarles Cares events, the firm's signature community outreach effort. Ochoa also volunteers with The University of Arizona College of Law Minority Legal Writing Program.
