Quarles & Brady Announces Lori S. Meddings as Intellectual Property National Practice Group Chair
Milwaukee — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Lori S. Meddings, a partner in the firm's Madison office, has been named as the new Intellectual Property Group National Practice Group Chair.
Meddings succeeds Jack Cook, who has served as national chair of the group since 2015 and has been elected to the firm’s executive committee, which is responsible for the management and administration of the firm and all matters not reserved to the partnership.
"The firm is appreciative of Jack for his five excellent years of leading the intellectual property team and we are excited for his contributions moving forward with the executive committee," said Brad Vynalek, firm president. "We are thrilled that Lori will now lead the IP Group because her passion for client service and her collaborative approach will ensure continued growth and success for the team."
In addition to her new role, Meddings will continue to be the chair of the firm's Trademark Group. In addition, Meddings will continue to assist clients protecting and enforcing their trademarks across the globe. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin - Madison and a Juris Doctor from Marquette University Law School.
