Quarles & Brady Adds Milwaukee Commercial Real Estate Attorney Dan Kaminsky As Partner

News Release

The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced today that Dan Kaminsky, a long-time leader in the Wisconsin commercial real estate market, has joined the firm’s Milwaukee office as a partner. Kaminsky has 20 years of experience advising clients on all phases of real estate development.

Kaminsky counsels clients on complex real estate developments and commercial real estate transactions. He represents a variety of clients, including those that acquire and develop retail, office, industrial, health care and multi-family residential properties. He regularly works on matters involving sales and acquisitions, leases, finance, construction and architect contracts, zoning and land use, and entity formation.

“We’re thrilled to add someone to our team with such a strong reputation in the commercial real estate industry,” said Mary Ann Murray, national chair of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. “Dan’s broad experience across multiple areas of commercial real estate, including retail, office, industrial, healthcare and multi-family residential, will enable him to build upon the strong momentum our Real Estate team has established.”

Kaminsky is a member of the Commercial Association of REALTORS Wisconsin and NAIOP—the Commercial Real Estate Development Association. He also served as the chair of the Real Estate group at his most recent firm.

“I am grateful to be joining a great law firm like Quarles & Brady, especially given the continued growth of the firm’s Real Estate team,” said Kaminsky. “The ability to be part of a team that has the depth and breadth to meet the needs of clients across varying types of matters and geographies was particularly appealing to me. As a transactional real estate lawyer, I look forward to both growing my practice and helping the firm’s Real Estate team gain further momentum.”

Kaminsky received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee before earning his J.D. from Marquette University.
