Quarles Appoints Josh Maggard and Lauren Stine to Lead Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group
January 12, 2022 (Milwaukee) — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced leadership changes for the firm's Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group, effective January 1. Milwaukee partner Josh Maggard has been named national chair and Phoenix partner Lauren Stine has been named vice chair. Maggard was formerly vice chair.
Maggard succeeds Ed Salanga, who has served as national chair of the practice group since 2017. Salanga will continue his litigation practice in the firm's Phoenix office.

Maggard is a trial and appellate litigator who advises clients on class action defense, professional liability defense and commercial disputes. An active participant in legal organizations, he is a board member for Eastern District of Wisconsin Bar Association, advocate designation for National Institute for Trial Advocacy and fellow for the American Bar Foundation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Taylor University and a Juris Doctor from Ohio State University-Moritz College of Law.
Stine represents clients in litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. She advises a diverse range of clients, including municipalities, national law firms, financial institutions, construction companies and real estate companies. Stine is chair of the Wings of Gold Committee and member of the board of directors for the Sun Devil Club. Stine is currently listed on Southwest Super Lawyers® (Business Litigation) and Best Lawyers in America® (Appellate and Commercial Litigation.) She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science from Arizona State University and a Juris Doctor from Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.
