Quarles Adds Four Attorneys to Phoenix Office, Strengthening Commercial Litigation and IP Capabilities
Phoenix -- The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced the addition of four prominent attorneys to its Phoenix office.
Jeffrey Gardner and Jimmie Pursell join as partners in the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group, along with Daniel Peabody as an associate, while Daniel Pote joins Quarles’ Intellectual Property (IP) Practice Group as of counsel. All four come to Quarles from Jennings, Strouss & Salmon, where Gardner most recently served as the firm’s managing attorney.
“We’re incredibly excited to welcome this group of nationally renowned lawyers to Quarles, and to bring their collective experience to bear on behalf of our clients and those who will undoubtedly follow our new colleagues—all of whom will reap the benefits of our platform and deep bench of knowledgeable attorneys,” said Jason Wood, Quarles’ Phoenix office managing partner. “This is a group of experienced leaders and master strategists who understand how to partner with their clients to drive long-term success. They not only will bolster our world-class team in Phoenix but will add significant value for our clients across the state and beyond.”
The new arrivals represent companies in a wide range of industries in connection with matters ranging from national class action lawsuits to complex business litigation to structuring intellectual property strategies and related strategic guidance. For instance, Gardner, Pursell and Peabody frequently handle high-stakes, bet-the-company litigation and other complex matters for a wide variety of clients in the Southwest and throughout the nation, while Pote has helped some of the most well-known brands in Arizona and across the U.S. secure and protect their IP rights.
In their respective practice areas, they frequently counsel business leaders on risk mitigation, litigation strategy and other sensitive issues affecting organizations to help them efficiently balance legal risks and expeditiously achieve their business objectives.
“We were drawn to Quarles’ deep roots in the Phoenix area and appreciate the firm’s extensive work cultivating strong local ties and a unique market offering,” said Gardner. “We’re thrilled to be joining the firm and know our clients will benefit immensely from Quarles’ connections in Phoenix, as well as the strength of its national, full-service platform and 130 years of excellence in client service.”
