Patent Attorney Brian Dutton Joins Quarles D.C. Office

Washington, D.C. – Veteran patent attorney Brian Dutton has joined the Quarles & Brady Washington, D.C., office as senior counsel in the Intellectual Property Practice Group.

Dutton counsels domestic and international clients on U.S. patent prosecution matters, with a particular focus on semiconductor devices, process and fabrication equipment, electronic circuit design and software development. He is experienced in representing clients before both the Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Dutton began his career in various corporate roles as an electrical, software and systems engineer, with responsibilities that included developing software and designing electronic hardware for mainframe computers.
