Partners Jason Wood, Amy Cotton Peterson and Nick Meza Named to 2023 “Top 100 Lawyers in Arizona” by AZ Big Media

Phoenix — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that partners Jason Wood, Amy Cotton Peterson and Nick Meza have been named to the 2023 “Top 100 Lawyers in Arizona” by AZ Big Media.

“Top 100 Lawyers in Arizona” is compiled each year by using an independent algorithm that weighs professional ratings, accomplishments and industry impact to determine the 100 most prolific attorneys in Arizona.

Wood is the Phoenix office managing partner and a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group, including serving as the group’s Arizona chair from 2017-2022. As chair, Wood nearly doubled the group's local headcount and facilitated the addition of several accomplished attorneys, land planners and other professionals who support the lifecycle of real estate, debt, equity and related venture transactions. He has received recognition from Best Lawyers® from 2021-2023, Chambers USA® from 2020-present and Southwest Super Lawyers® from 2014-present, all in the Real Estate category.

Peterson is a partner and national chair of the Health Law Practice Group. She has been named one of the AzBusiness Leaders 2022 by AZ Big Media and "Outstanding Women in Business" by Phoenix Business Journal in 2020, to name a few. She is also a licensed physical therapist and an executive board member of Chrysalis, a nonprofit organization with a mission to end domestic violence.

Meza is a partner in the firm’s Health & Life Sciences Group. He has been recognized by both Best Lawyers® “Ones to Watch” from 2021-2023 and Southwest Super Lawyers® from 2018-present, both in Heath Care Law. In 2022, he was elected to the Arizona Society of Healthcare Attorneys (AzSHA) board of directors. AzSHA membership consists of attorneys in Arizona who are employed or engaged by a health care organization, or who regularly deal with legal issues affecting the health care industry.
