Partner Melissa McCord Named to 2024 “Women in Law” by Wisconsin Law Journal

Melissa McCord, national vice chair of the Quarles Business Law Practice Group, has been named to a 2024 “Women in Law” by the Wisconsin Law Journal.

The award recognizes Wisconsin’s female legal professionals who demonstrate outstanding performance in leadership, mentorship, community service and other areas. Honorees will be recognized at the annual “Legal All-Stars” award ceremony on November 21 in Milwaukee.

McCord has won numerous awards, including the Wisconsin Law Journal “Up and Coming Lawyers” in 2017, Chambers listing in “Banking & Finance” since 2020, and Best Lawyers in America in 2023 and 2024 for Commercial Finance Law and 2024 for Banking and Finance Law. In addition, she has been named to the State Bar of Wisconsin’s “Pro Bono Honor Society” each year since 2014.

McCord dedicates a significant amount a time and holds leadership positions for organizations such as the Women’s Fund of Greater Milwaukee, Marquette University Law School Alumni Association, the Milwaukee Bar Association Foundation, Wisconsin Women’s Business Initiative Corporation, the Sojourner Family Peace Center, and TEMPO Milwaukee.
