Partner Mark Bina Re-Appointed to Illinois Supreme Court’s Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission Hearing Board

Chicago — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Mark Bina, a partner in the firm's Chicago office, has been re-appointed to the Illinois Supreme Court’s Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission (IARDC) Hearing Board. His re-appointment begins March 1 and runs until February 28, 2022.

The IARDC Hearing Board oversees the licensing and discipline of all Illinois-licensed attorneys and as a member, Bina hears contested evidentiary hearings of alleged attorney misconduct and makes recommendations to the Supreme Court on disciplinary sanctions. He has been on the board since 2012.

Bina is a member of the firm's Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Health & Life Sciences Practice Groups. He is also the co-chair of the firm's Health Litigation Practice Group. Bina's litigation practice encompasses a variety of matters affecting businesses and providers in state and federal trial and appellate courts across the country. In his health care practice, focused on regulatory and compliance issues, he represents pharmacies, hospitals, wholesale distributors, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), drug and device manufacturers, re-packagers, long-term care facilities, and many other individual and industry providers.

In addition to serving on the IARDC Hearing Board, Bina serves in the Investigation & Hearings Division of the Judicial Evaluation Committee for the Chicago Bar Association. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University and a Juris Doctor from University of Illinois-Chicago John Marshall Law School.
