Nick Meza, Ben Nielsen Appointed to Phoenix Office Practice Group Leadership Roles

January 30, 2025 (Phoenix) – Quarles & Brady LLP announced today that Nick Meza has been named Phoenix office chair of the Health & Life Sciences Practice Group and Ben Nielsen has been appointed Phoenix office chair of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group.

Meza advises a wide variety of health care clients — particularly pharmacy law and behavioral health providers — on an array of issues, including health care regulatory compliance, health care transactions and hearings before administrative boards. He was honored as one of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association’s 2023 “Rising Stars” and was named to the “Top 100 Lawyers in Arizona” by AZ Big Media in 2023.

Meza is a member of the firm’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, co-chair of its Hispanic Business Resource Group and co-chair of the Phoenix office recruiting committee.

An experienced litigator, trial lawyer and appellate advocate, Nielsen represents individuals and businesses in complex litigation, civil matters and appeals, both in Arizona and nationally. He has been recognized as a Best Lawyers in America "Ones to Watch" (Banking and Finance Law, Commercial Litigation) each year since 2021 and Southwest Super Lawyers "Rising Stars" (Business Litigation) each year since 2020.

Nielsen serves as chair of the Phoenix Summer Associate Committee and was previously the Phoenix office pro bono partner.
