Melanie Kalmanson Closes Tenure as Editor of Florida Supreme Court Historical Society Magazine, Issue Features Article by Emily Plakon

Quarles Tampa attorney Melanie Kalmanson recently concluded her eight-issue tenure as editor of the Historical Review, a publication of the Florida Supreme Court Historical Society, with the fall/winter 2022 edition. The issue also features an article by Tampa attorney Emily Plakon about the 20th anniversary of the appointment of the Florida Supreme Court’s first Cuban American justice.

Kalmanson, a member of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group, began writing articles for Historical Review while in law school and continued her work with the publication while serving as a Florida Supreme Court law clerk. She became editor in 2019.

Plakon also is a member of the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group.
