Liya Green, Shamika Mazyck and Pete Gonzales Accepted into Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Programs
Milwaukee – The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that attorneys Liya Green, Shamika Mazyck and Pete Gonzales have been chosen to participate in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (LCLD) 2022-2023 Fellows and Pathfinders programs.
LCLD, with a membership of more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners, is committed to creating a truly diverse U.S. legal profession. The organization’s programs are designed to attract, inspire and nurture diverse talent in the profession, helping them ascend to leadership positions.
Green, a Washington, D.C.- based senior counsel in the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group who focuses on Immigration, will participate in the LCLD Fellows program. This program is designed for diverse, high-potential, mid-career attorneys, providing them with professional and personal development opportunities, leadership training, relationship-building opportunities and access to LCLD members.
Mazyck, an associate in the Health & Life Sciences Group in the firm’s Indianapolis office, and Gonzales, an associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group in Chicago, will be part of the LCLD Pathfinders program. Pathfinders is intended for diverse, high-potential, early career attorneys, offering them practical tools to develop and leverage internal professional networks through relationship-building skills, foundational leadership skills and an understanding of career development strategies.
Quarles & Brady has been an LCLD member since the organization’s founding in 2009.
