Justin DeAngelis Named Chair of the International Policy & Practice Subcommittee of the Industrial Design Committee of the American Intellectual Property Law Association

CHICAGO, Ill. — Quarles & Brady LLP is pleased to announce that intellectual property attorney, Justin DeAngelis has been named Chair of the International Policy & Practice Subcommittee of the Industrial Design Committee of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA).

The subcommittee efforts focus on design patent, trade dress and copyright laws, rules, regulations and judicial decisions applicable to the protection of industrial designs and works with the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office and Copyright Office to identify and solve problem areas encountered during prosecution of applications to register and/or patent industrial designs.

DeAngelis practices out of the firm's Chicago office where he assists clients with their domestic and international patent portfolios with regard to patent preparation and prosecution, freedom to operate analyses, and infringement analyses for design and utility patents.
