John Hintz Appointed to Disability Rights Wisconsin PAIMI Advisory Council
Milwaukee — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that John Hintz, an attorney in the firm's Milwaukee office, has been appointed to a two-year term on the Disability Rights Wisconsin (DRW) Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness (PAIMI) Advisory Council.
DRW is a private nonprofit organization that protects the rights of people with disabilities in Wisconsin and helps them gain access to services and opportunities through advocacy and legal expertise. The PAIMI Advisory Council was established in 1986 to protect the human and civil rights of children and adults with serious mental health conditions. As a PAIMI Advisory Council member, Hintz helps the staff and board of directors of DRW set priorities and create policies on issues that affect people with mental illness.
Hintz's practice focuses on health care business transactions, including forming and administering clinically integrated networks, negotiating managed care contracts and establishing and maintaining clients’ legal compliance (including antitrust, insurance, and data sharing). He represents health care providers, payers, third-party administrators, PPOs and billers. Hintz received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, Master of Science from the University of Arizona and Juris Doctor from Marquette University.
