Indianapolis Attorney Amanda Morton Joins Quarles & Brady Business Law Group As Partner
Indianapolis — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced today that Amanda Morton has joined the firm’s Indianapolis office as a partner in the Business Law Practice Group. She advises an array of clients on a variety of corporate, commercial finance and real estate matters.
In addition to extensive law firm experience, Morton previously worked as associate counsel for corporate and global partnerships in Purdue University’s Office of Legal Counsel.
“Amanda’s versatility and breadth of experience makes her a valuable addition to our team,” said Will Schultz, national chair of the firm’s Business Law Group. “Her ability to serve clients on so many different matters perfectly complements our group’s long-term growth objectives in Indianapolis and nationally.”
Morton’s experience includes advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate entity formation and structure, corporate transitions, international contracts and international compliance matters. In commercial finance, Morton has advised lenders on structuring and modifying real estate loans, commercial leases, mezzanine loans and construction loans. Her real estate experience also encompasses multi-family and mixed-use development projects and medical office transactions, as well as real estate purchase and sale, leasing and resolution of complex title issues.
At Purdue University she counseled the Purdue Research Foundation on the creation of the Back a Boiler Income Share Agreement Program, including advising the foundation in areas such as program design, servicing, consumer finance matters and capital finance.

After earning a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in political science from Wake Forest University, Morton received her J.D., cum laude, from the Mercer University Walter F. George School of Law.
