Goldschmidt Named 2018 Wisconsin Law Journal Up & Coming Lawyer
MILWAUKEE — Quarles & Brady LLP is pleased to announce that James E. Goldschmidt has been named a 2018 Up & Coming Lawyer by the Wisconsin Law Journal.
To be named an Up & Coming Lawyer, the nominee should be represent determination in legal work, in community betterment, and in improving their own law firms, practice law for 8 years or less, and be on a fast track to making a significant impact in the legal profession.
Goldschmidt is an appellate litigator and a member of the firm's Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group, where his practice focuses on appellate and regulatory matters, with active involvement in the related areas of energy law, environmental law, litigation, and insurance coverage disputes. He has briefed and argued cases before the Wisconsin Supreme Court and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and his appellate practice experience spans some two dozen fully briefed appeals in Wisconsin, Illinois, Florida, and the Seventh, Ninth, and Federal Circuits. He also has a growing practice in the area of CERCLA Superfund litigation representing manufacturers and successor entities identified as potentially responsible parties (PRPs) in connection with historically contaminated sites.
Goldschmidt and the other 29 honorees will be recognized on Thursday, September 13 during a reception at Discovery World's Pilot House.
