Former Public Defender Monique Carter Joins Quarles San Diego Office as Of Counsel

The national law firm of Quarles & Brady today announced that Monique Carter has joined the firm’s San Diego office as of counsel in the Labor & Employment Practice Group.

Carter is an experienced litigator and trial attorney who also advises employers on all aspects of employment law and disputes. She applies her deep knowledge of trial practice to the full spectrum of labor and employment litigation, including discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation wage and hour disputes, and class actions.

Prior to joining Quarles, Carter served in various capacities in the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office, including trial attorney, supervisor and chief deputy of training and development. She is a fellow at the American College of Trial Lawyers. Carter received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Juris Doctor from University of San Diego School of Law.
