Faye Feinstein Receives 2019 Turnaround Legend Award from the Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association
Chicago — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Faye Feinstein, a Partner in the firm's Bankruptcy, Restructuring, and Creditor's Rights practice group, has been recognized with the 2019 Turnaround Legend Award from the Chicago/Midwest Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA).
The 2019 Turnaround Legend Award recognizes members who have made significant contributions to the organization through involvement and leadership. Feinstein was honored for, among other achievements, "helping grow and lead TMA to be a premier organization in the restructuring and insolvency space."
Feinstein focuses her practice in out-of-court restructuring, workouts, and liquidations, including assignments for the benefit of creditors, representing parties on all sides of those matters, including secured and unsecured creditors, receivers, and assignees for the benefit of creditors.
She represents debtors, secured creditors, unsecured creditors, creditors' committees, trustees, equity holders, defendants in adversary actions filed in bankruptcy court, and purchasers of assets from troubled companies, including through sales under section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code, and owners, developers, and managing agents on lease issues in bankruptcy cases and workouts. Feinstein received her Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, from Brooklyn College and her Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law.
Feinstein was honored at the Chicago/Midwest Chapter Executive Speaker Forum at the Palmer House in Chicago on November 21.
