Emily Feinstein Featured in ABA Journal Article "Meet 12 ABA Members Who Inspired Us in 2022"
December 16, 2022 (Madison, Wis.) — Emily Feinstein, a Litigation & Dispute Resolution partner in the firm's Madison office, was featured in the American Bar Association Journal article, "Meet 12 ABA Members Who Inspired Us in 2022." The article featured 12 extraordinary ABA members who go to great lengths to embolden their clients, colleagues and members of the communities around them.
In 2022, Feinstein became involved in two significant pro bono cases that reached the Wisconsin Supreme Court. In one, she helped represent the father of a student who was killed in the mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School and in the other, she represented LGBTQ student groups from the Madison Metropolitan School District.
Feinstein is the firm's national co-chair of the DEI Committee, Dane County Bar Association’s Pro Bono Trust trustee and treasurer, president and board member of Westmorland Neighborhood Association and coach of the West Madison Polar Caps Youth Hockey Association. In addition, she is a leader in helping survivors of domestic violence obtain protective injunctions to prevent their abusers from contacting them. Feinstein created a network of attorneys in the Madison area to represent these clients, and she regularly trains attorneys on how to represent clients in these situations.
