David Cross Receives Milwaukee Bar Association 2017 Pro Bono Publico Award
MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Quarles & Brady is pleased to announce that David Cross, a partner in the firm's Milwaukee office, has been honored by the Milwaukee Bar Association (MBA) with a Pro Bono Publico Award.
Winners of the Pro Bono Publico awards were reviewed and selected by the MBA Awards Committee. General criteria included: developing innovative ways to deliver volunteer legal services, participating in activities that provide legal services to the indigent, increasing access to justice, and working on legislation that increases access to justice.
Cross is a member of the firm's Intellectual Property Practice Group. He has extensive experience prosecuting and defending trademark and unfair competition cases. In addition to his legal work, he volunteers with Legal Action of Wisconsin’s Eviction Defense Project and helped 30 individuals avoid eviction in 2017.
