Chair Emeritus John Daniels To Be Honored at Milwaukee Press Club Gridiron Awards Virtual Ceremony

Chicago — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP announced that Chair Emeritus John Daniels will be honored with a "Headliner Award" at the Milwaukee Press Club Gridiron Awards Virtual Ceremony 2021.

The Milwaukee Press Club is the oldest continuously operating press club in North America. Its members represent a leading community of media-focused professionals from nearly every local media outlet, a strong contingent of public relations and marketing professionals and others with an interest in journalism and news media. The annual Milwaukee Press Club Gridiron Awards ceremony presents the Headliner Awards to those who are making a positive difference in Wisconsin.

Daniels served as chairman of both Greater Milwaukee Foundation and the Greater Milwaukee Committee. In those roles, he focused on developing the vibrancy of the community, including diversity and inclusion. Daniels, who is chair of the Advocate Aurora Health board of directors and president of the Black Directors Health Equity Agenda, has recently spearheaded a national effort to address long-standing issues related to health equity in the United States. In the past year, he has been named to "Notable Minority Executives" by BizTimes Milwaukee, “Power Brokers 2020” by the Milwaukee Business Journal and "2020 Business Champion" by the African American Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin.

The Milwaukee Press Club Gridiron Awards Virtual Ceremony will be held on May 19 from 6:30-8 p.m.
