Chair Emeritus John Daniels Honored Named One of Milwaukee-area’s Top 15 Power Brokers by Milwaukee Business Journal
Milwaukee — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that Chair Emeritus John Daniels Jr. has been honored by the Milwaukee Business Journal as one of the Milwaukee-Area’s Top 15 power brokers in 2021.
The Milwaukee Business Journal's annual Milwaukee-area Power Brokers list features 100 individuals "who others turn to when they need to get something done, whether it’s a business deal, community project or raising money for a great cause." For 2021, Daniels was listed as a "Top 15 Power Broker" based upon input from Milwaukee Business Journal reporters, editors and readers.
Daniels is a devoted civic leader and is frequently recognized for his work on developing the vibrancy of the Milwaukee community, especially as it relates to diversity, equity and inclusion. He was included among “Power Brokers 2020” by the Milwaukee Business Journal and "Notable Minority Executives" by BizTimes Milwaukee, and was named a "2020 Business Champion" by the African American Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin.
Daniels is chair of the Advocate Aurora Health board of directors and president of the Black Directors Health Equity Agenda, where he currently spearheads a national effort to address long-standing issues related to health equity in the United States. Additionally, he is former chairman of both the Greater Milwaukee Foundation and the Greater Milwaukee Committee.
Daniels is Harvard Law graduate and founded The Fellowship Open more than 20 years ago to bring key diverse leaders together.
