Brenda Maloney Shafer Named Vice Chair of Firm’s Health & Life Sciences Practice Group
Milwaukee — The national law firm of Quarles & Brady LLP today announced that partner Brenda Maloney Shafer has been named vice chair of the firm's Health & Life Sciences practice group. Maloney Shafer will complement Amy Cotton Peterson, who has been chair of the Health Law group since 2018.
Brenda Maloney Shafer focuses her practice on health care regulatory, compliance and transactional matters for a wide variety of providers, including pharmacies, pharmacy benefit managers and drug wholesalers; hospitals and physician groups; and long-term care facilities. A particular area of focus is counseling clients regarding compliance with the 340B drug pricing program. A former United States Army Nurse Corps officer, she is a member of the Standing Committee of the ABA Legal Assistance for Military Section.
